Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies when you visit www.minthome.app, including its English, French and Chinese pages. The site introduces MintHome, presents service information, provides help content and links visitors to booking or app-download paths.

It does not cover the MintHome app and does not replace the privacy policy for mintcanada.one. When you continue to mintcanada.one to book, enter customer details or pay, the policy shown there governs that activity.

2. Information the website handles

The website handles:

• Technical and visit data: hosting provider Vercel may process IP addresses, request times, page paths, browser details and other network-request information to deliver and protect the site.
• Link sources: Links may contain UTM, NFC card or campaign parameters to preserve source context. A valid NFC card token enables anonymous session analytics. A short-lived session ticket is kept in the current tab’s sessionStorage, and the card token may remain in the URL.
• Language and area: neutral entry points use your first browser language: Chinese displays Chinese, French displays French, and English or any other language displays English. A valid language link or URL choice takes precedence. A service area you select is saved in browser localStorage as mh:nfc:metro.
• FAQ searches: search terms filter content within the current page in your browser and are not sent through website analytics.

NFC session analytics: only sessions started through a valid NFC card link use these analytics. We record page and service-page views, download-button clicks, clicks on the actual Android store link, and support-entry and support-channel clicks. The data is limited to card and session identifiers, the type of view or click, device category (phone, computer or unrecognized device), language (Chinese, English or French), and predefined service and channel categories. These analytics do not collect names, phone numbers, home addresses, form content or raw IP addresses. The URL and path of the page viewed are not recorded. Ordinary website visits without an NFC session do not use these analytics.

The website currently has no account registration, payment or customer-detail form, so it does not directly collect names, home addresses, photos or payment-card details through a website form.

3. How we use information

We use this information to load and protect the site, show the appropriate language and service area, filter help content, and preserve area and source context in consultation links. NFC session analytics help us understand webpage visits and button clicks from card links. Administrator test sessions are marked separately and excluded from regular reporting.

These statistics do not prove that someone physically tapped a card, installed the app, registered an account or completed an order.

We do not sell or rent information collected through this website.

4. Service providers and booking handoff

We use Vercel for hosting, content delivery, security and technical logs, and Supabase to host anonymous NFC card-session analytics. Current website pages do not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or Meta Pixel. NFC session analytics do not use advertising cookies.

When you open a consultation form on mintcanada.one, the website uses the relevant language path and may include your selected service area, format-checked UTM source parameters and the public NFC card token nfc_card for source attribution. Short-lived session tickets are not included in consultation links, and arbitrary parameters from the current URL are not forwarded. Please do not put personal information in source parameters.

When you follow an app-store, support or other external link, that provider handles information under its own terms and privacy policy.

5. International processing and retention

Hosting providers such as Vercel may process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to local laws. We choose providers with reasonable safeguards and limit the information processed.

Your service-area preference remains until you select another area or clear site data; it has no automatic expiry. The current browser settings or URL determine the language, and current pages do not let an old saved language override that choice. The NFC session ticket is stored temporarily in sessionStorage; closing that tab ends the local session, but does not delete analytics already sent. Source parameters and the NFC card token may remain in browser history or URLs you save or share. Hosting logs are retained according to the relevant service settings and policies.

6. Your choices and requests

You can clear or restrict site storage in your browser. Clearing site data removes the saved service area and local session ticket. Language still follows your first browser preference or the current link. To browse without NFC analytics, close any tab with an existing NFC session and open the site through a new link without a card token. Removing parameters from the current URL alone does not clear an established session; a link that still contains a valid card token may enable analytics again. Public content remains available.

Where applicable law provides, you may ask to understand, access, correct or delete information related to you, withdraw consent or raise a concern. Email info@minthome.app. We may take reasonable steps to verify identity before completing a request.

7. Security, children and updates

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of website information and aim to minimize personal information handled by the website. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

This website is intended for adults arranging home services and is not designed for children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through the website.

We may update this policy as website functions, providers or legal requirements change. The revised date will appear on this page, and material changes will be communicated in an appropriate way.
