Key points
- Language display
- Follows your first browser language or the current language link, without using an old saved language.
- Service area
- Your selected area stays in browser storage until you change it or clear it.
- NFC session
- A valid card link enables anonymous visit and click analytics, with a temporary session ticket stored in the current tab.
- Advertising technology
- No advertising cookies, Google Analytics, Tag Manager or Meta Pixel are used.
1. Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small piece of data stored in your browser by a website or provider. localStorage can keep preferences between visits; this site uses it for your service area. sessionStorage holds temporary data for the current tab. When you visit through a valid NFC card link, it stores the session ticket needed for analytics. Closing the tab ends the local session.
2. Technologies currently used
| Item | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
mh:nfc:metro | Remembers the service area you select. | Until you select another area or clear site data; no automatic expiry. |
| Browser language and language links | Uses your first browser language unless you follow a valid language link. Chinese displays Chinese, French displays French, and other languages display English. | Current pages do not save a language preference in browser storage; the choice is carried in page links. |
| UTM, NFC or campaign parameters in URLs | Keep source context between pages. Consultation links pass only allowed UTM parameters, the service area and the public card token nfc_card, never a short-lived session ticket. | May remain in history or saved URLs. A valid NFC card token is also used to establish a temporary analytics session. |
| NFC session ticket (sessionStorage) | Used only after a valid card link enables analytics, to connect visits and clicks within that session. | Temporarily held in the current tab; closing the tab ends the local session. |
3. How analytics loads
Anonymous analytics are enabled only for sessions started through a valid NFC card link. They record page and service-page views and clicks on download buttons, the Android store link, support entries and support channels. The data is limited to card and session identifiers, the type of view or click, and device, language, service and channel categories. No names, phone numbers, addresses, form content or raw IP addresses are collected. The URL and path of the page viewed are not recorded. Ordinary visits do not enable these analytics, and FAQ search terms are not sent. Administrator test sessions are marked separately and excluded from regular reporting.
These statistics reflect card-link webpage visits and button clicks. They do not prove a physical card tap, app installation, account registration or completed order. Current pages do not load Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager. There is currently no cookie choice banner.
Before we enable Google Ads personalization, advertising profiles, remarketing or another advertising platform, a cookie choice banner and Google Consent Mode will be mandatory release requirements. We will update this policy at the same time.
The website does not use advertising cookies, Meta Pixel, Facebook remarketing cookies or another unlisted advertising-profile technology.
4. Managing cookies and site data
You can view, block or delete cookies through browser settings and can clear localStorage and sessionStorage for a specific website. Private browsing, tracking protection and browser extensions may also limit these technologies.
Clearing site data removes your saved service area and local session ticket, but does not delete analytics already sent. After closing the tab with the NFC session, use a new link without a card token to browse without NFC analytics. Removing URL parameters alone does not clear an existing session, and a link containing a valid card token may enable analytics again. Browser-language detection and public content remain available. Language or attribution data from an older version may still exist, but current pages do not use it; you can clear it as well. URL parameters and browser history must be removed separately.
5. Updates and contact
We will update this policy and the list above if the website adds analytics, advertising or necessary functionality. For questions about cookies or local storage, contact info@minthome.app.
